Beautiful warm, sunny morning, probably the last of the year!


Knott End leading from Bourne Arms towards promenade. Small crack in wall, single buddlea flower attracted this beautiful butterfly. Dry day, tide out, beach clean


This was a beautiful, sunny afternoon on the beach at Cleveleys. The view of the Lake District was as clear as it possibly could be. The submerged forest bared its roots and a clump of Samphire blew about like Tumbleweed on the sun-glistened sand. It was driftwood city beneath the sea wall – never seen


Breezy afternoon in Blackpool. sunshine and clouds. Sea conditions, calm.


Stormy weather over the last weekend of August coincided with Spring tides to generate very big waves and a high sea, which continued into the new week. At 7.45am to tide was fully out but there’s still a residue of sea foam on the promenade, indicating it had been rough the night before. There’s also
