Observations

Stormy weather over the last weekend of August coincided with Spring tides to generate very big waves and a high sea, which continued into the new week. At 7.45am to tide was fully out but there’s still a residue of sea foam on the promenade, indicating it had been rough the night before. There’s also beach material on the promenade, showing just how rough the sea has been, and the strand line has been pushed right up to the wall.
